Introduction of Care Team
Sanville Nursing Home is privately owned by Mr Brendan Gervin.
Brendan has approximately 30years of experience in this industry and enjoys nothing more than meeting and getting to know our residents.
Claire Reid is our home manager-she has a wealth of experience in care of the elderly and her focus is to be patient centred. She is a registered nurse with skills and in particular interest in dementia care.
As well as having considerable experience in elderly care, our trained nurses offer specialist care in areas such as infection control, dementia and palliative care.
The team of Care Assistants includes staff who have undertaken formal NVQ training at
levels 2 and 3.
We pride ourselves on having a friendly and caring workforce.
Our activities co-ordinator works hard to ensure that a wide range of activities is available to you which are stimulating and interesting. Personal interests will be taken into account and suggestions will be paramount to devising our programme of activities.
Our kitchen staff will provide a varied, nutritious, well balanced menu for you with daily choices. The food is freshly prepared on a daily basis.
The ancillary staff at Sanville Nursing Home includes Housekeeping and Kitchen assistants.
We are here to ensure the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Staff Training:
Staff in Sanville Nursing Home are patient centered and also team orientated. Staff will aim to deliver the best possible care.
They will provide deep personal and passionate commitment which is core to their practice.
Staff are trained in other areas such as Food Hygiene. Protection of Vulnerable Adults, Dementia and Manual handling training.
All nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and we employ especially trained staff to work with Elderly Mentally ill patients.
